It is with a heavy heart that I have to post the death of our sweetest boy of all, Cruz.  Cruz contracted Canine Influenza which then infected his lungs.  He passed away because of complications of pneumonia after only 12 hours of illness.   He was only 3 1/2 years old.  He was the best boy and our hearts are breaking.  Until me meet again sweet Cruz......

LIncoln, NE - Racy earns 3 pts in lure coursing on Friday and another 5 pt major on Saturday - only two more points for her Field Championship!

So excited to announce that we have a new champion today!  Racy earned her final points at the Platte Valley KC in Lincoln, NE under judge Joy S Brewster.  Racy has been totally owner-handled by Shawna Stecher.  AKC champ #51 for Koda Ridgebacks - way to go girls!

Lara (Koda's   ) - first place in 9-12 Puppy Sweeps, Judge Troy Abney



Lindy (BISS CH Koda's Quick Step, CGC ROM) - 2nd place 7-9 Veteran Sweeps, 1st place 7-9 regular class, Best Veteran Bitch in show, Best of Opposite Sex Veteran in Show.

Two Cruz puppies, Coco and Bolt, placed in puppy sweeps and regular classes too!

Special thanks to Paula Wilson and Neil McDevitt who did all the conformation showing this year, and to Mark Rudd who put Stevie through her paces.

Obie continues his winning ways, with owner/handler Becky Nelson, winning a Group Three today under Judge Col Joe Purkhiser at the Concho Kennel Club show in San Angelo, TX!

Obie finished the year as #17 ridgeback in the nation (breed and all-breed) and owner/handler Becky Nelson was ranked as the #6 owner-handler in the country for 2013.  Way to go guys - you did us proud this year!
